Contadores B se quedó con el clásico, logró un golpe emocional importante y además suma puntos para reubicarse mejor en la tabla de posiciones.
El primer tiempo en general tuvo mucho ritmo pero pocas llegadas sobre los arcos, aunque se mostró algo más peligroso el equipo de Billalva.
Precisamente en el inicio del complemento llegó el único tanto del encuentro, cuando Ramírez Cook jugó profundo con Gelardino y éste facturó.
Los de Seismandi buscaron reaccionar y por momentos presionaron bien arriba, pero todas las chances claras que se generaron fueron abortadas por la seguridad de Rodríguez, que terminó siendo uno de los hombres más importantes en el clásico.
